I'm Kay, a shisha mixologist from Hong Kong with four years of hands-on experience in the hookah world. I kicked off my journey in September 2021 and since then, I've been diving deep into the craft, creating unique blends, and sharing my passion. Over time, I've built my own projects and helped others along the way:
2021: Started Yarkshila, my first shisha spot where I mixed traditional methods with new ideas.
2022: Launched Oishi, refining my take on curated shisha experiences.
2023: Worked as a consultant for Solar, helping shape their lounge and mixology menu.
2024: Became a consultant for Miluna and launched my own brand, Weee Shisha, which offers high-quality shisha catering and custom consulting. That year, I also teamed up with Masacari marché in Okinawa, Japan, handling exclusive distribution of their beautiful handcrafted glass shisha tips in Hong Kong.
2025 has been all about building connections and growing:
Mar: Guest spot at Shishartist LA in Los Angeles.
Apr: First international guest appearance at Masacari in Hakata, Japan.
Jun: Celebrated anniversaries at 1769 in Taiwan and did a guest shift at AC Hookah in Shenzhen.
Sep: Guest spot at Shi-fu in Taiwan.
Nov: Featured at Shishanokyoukaku in Taiwan.
Dec: Made appearances at LA Hookah Lounge and Afterhour OC in LA.
At my core, I’m a shisha enthusiast who thinks every session should tell a story. Whether through layered flavors, thoughtful curation, or community vibe, I’m all about taking the hookah experience to the next level, one bowl at a time.
